California University of Pennsylvania's PRSSA chapter and student-run PR firm, the PRactitioners, is hosting "a P.R. affair” Regional Student Firm Activity on Monday, March 15, 2010, from 9am-3pm. For more information, visit http://regionalpr.wordpress.com/
Duquesne University and Point Park University will host the regional PRSSA conference “From Steel to Shine: PR Careers for Your Future,” April 16-17, 2010. Regional PRSSA members and other college students majoring in related fields, as well as members of regional PRSA chapters will be invited to register. Speakers from a wide array of organizations will provide insights into the differences between the plethora of career paths available in the Pittsburgh region, including agency, sports, healthcare and non-profit public relations.
